I am looking forward to teaching an integrated class of 8^th grade U.S. History and Language Arts for the 2012-2013 school year.  As a reading specialist, I will continue to support middle school students through modeling the Comprehension Strategies for Life in all 5^th grade language arts classes and in 6^th grade science and social studies classes.  Seventh and eighth grade students will receive literacy support within content area classes with an emphasis on self-directed application based on individual learning styles. I am also the facilitator of Auto Skills Math, providing computer based math intervention during guided study.
