Thank you for your participation in the Book Swap – Mr. McNaulty Memorial Traveling “little” Library. In just four days, we traded 140 books! We will keep Mr. McNaulty’s passion for reading alive by keeping the cart going next school year. Read a good book lately? Pass it on.
Congratulations to the Sheboygan Falls Girls Varsity Soccer Team as they are 2012 Regional Champions! Sectional games begin this week with Sheboygan Falls hosting Campbellsport on Thursday beginning at 4:30 pm at the SF Elementary School soccer field. Stop out and support your girls soccer team!
The 2012 Dutch Touch Wisconsin International High School Soccer Camp will be held June 25-29 for all boys and girls entering grades 9 – 12. There is also a camp for the Middle School for all boys and girls entering grades 5 – 8. The sign-up deadline has been extended to Friday, June 15, 2012. If you need a form, please stop in the school office or contact Jeff Fischer @ 467-0647.
There will be a short Parents informational basketball meeting TONIGHT in the High School gym for incoming Freshman, JV and Varsity basketball players from 5:30-6:00 p.m. – just to go over summer plans for Girls Basketball. All Parents and players are encouraged to attend. Thanks Coach Hamilton
Attention girls entering 9th grade this fall who enjoy swimming: There will be an informational High School Girls Swimming meeting taking place at Kohler High School Youth Center (near the pool) TONIGHT at 6:00 p.m. No need to have previous competitive swimming experience to be a part of the team. Come meet the girls from Kohler, Sheboygan Falls, Lutheran, Christian, and Elkhart Lake who are part of Team SPLASH! Coach Ellifson will get you information regarding swimmer swimming programs, summer athletic training clubs, and practice/meet information for the 2012-2013 swimming season. Team SPLASH is a Co-Op swim program which trains in Kohler. Season will run from August 7th until Mid-November with swim meets taking place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and a few Saturdays. The Sheboygan Falls Rec Department will be offering a Summer Wrestling program for interested wrestlers in Kindergarten-8th Grade. The program will held on Mondays and Wednesdays, June 18th-July 25th from 12:00 – 1:00 pm in the High School Wrestling room. It will be organized and led by Coach Brad Knecht and members of the Falls High School Wrestling Team. Registration forms can be found on the Sheboygan Falls Rec Department website, and also at the Elementary, Middle School, and Aquatic Center.
The Sheboygan Falls Rec Department still has some openings for the Summer Tennis Lessons program in the following grade levels: 3rd & 4th Grade, 5th & 6th Grade, and 7th & 8th Grade. Please visit the Rec Department website or call the Sheboygan Falls Aquatic Center at 467-7827 for more information.
Track and Field Athletes – this summer your high school coaches are offering opportunities to participate in your favorite events and learn more advanced skills, “Throwing Thursdays” on June 14th, 28th and July 12th from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and all events the week of July 16th through the 19th from 3:30-5:00 p.m. at the High School.
