To participate in the swimming program you must fill out a registration form and send it to the Sheboygan Falls Aquatic Center before the registration deadline. All participants are placed in a class that will best meet the learner’s ability and skill level. The age or size of your child does not influence the level of instruction they will receive. Class placement adjustments are made during the first two days of class.

Class sizes are determined by the swimming level, age of the students, and number of students registered in the session. Levels are sometimes combined to provide for appropriate class sizes.

Emphasis in our swim program is on student progress and not on passing onto the next swimming level. We will teach your child to progress in their swimming and will move them onto the next level of instruction when they have demonstrated the skills and maturity necessary to handle the next level.

At the conclusion of the session, your child will receive a report card showing the skills they have completed. If your child completes all the skills, he/she will also receive an American Red Cross Card indicating that they have completed the course level.

A record of the student’s participation is kept on file at the Sheboygan Falls Aquatic Center and is recorded on an American Red Cross Course Record Sheet.

Participants are encouraged to attend open swims and sign up for additional lessons to improve their swimming skills.
