In Books are a Blast, students listened to the book "Kindness is my Superpower" by Alicia Ortego. Then, they practiced showing kindness by creating cards for friends or family!

Today in Books are a Blast, kids made their own Pete the Cat puppets after reading one of his books. Pete the Cat himself even made an appearance!

Today first graders in Mrs. Bennin’s class had a special visitor. They worked really hard on mastering their red words and earned a visit from Mr. Bennin. He made each student a bird perch and they were able to get creative to finish it! Fun was had by all! Way to work hard first graders!!
