This past week 8th Grade Baking Adventures spent some time learning proper measuring techniques and put their skills to the test with some banana chocolate chip muffins.
Fifth grade STEM students are creating prototypes of prosthetics for "clients." They did research on how they work and applied what they learned as they brought their idea to life.

Eighth grade STEM students are applying their coding skills to program drones and fly them using precise maneuvers. This also requires them to apply what they've learned about characteristics of flight, especially yaw, pitch, and roll.

In Grade 6 mathematics we love to see our math in "real life". While learning about the Number System domain, students used their knowledge of positive and negative numbers to keep ongoing scores in the game of bean bags. Besides this game we related the work to temperature, elevation and bank accounts! Great work mathematicians!!

8th Grade Spanish Students got outside for some Earth Day and Easter Egg Hunt fun while searching for sentences in Spanish that they scribe and draw as a team!
